Our Story

The Speech Tree Therapy Center Story

In December 2002, Sara received her Master’s degree and took a job in San Diego.  Erica graduated shortly after in May 2003 and also began her career in San Diego. Not long after that, Sara and Erica met while interviewing for a new job.  They both were hired and they quickly began collaborating and working together.

In 2006, Sara and Erica began dreaming about starting a pediatric speech and language practice that would serve a variety of children of all different abilities.  Their dream was to provide services that were family-centered, individualized and fun! Over the course of the next 5 years, they continued to collaborate, grow as therapists, and learn more about the needs in the community.   In early 2011 they began discussions again about making the visions they had become a reality. The planning continued, and from that, Speech Tree Therapy Center opened its doors!

Today as our practice grows, we continue to work diligently to understand the communities and families we serve, advance our learning, and provide outstanding services.
