Purposeful Play Leads to Literacy

I am a big advocate for purposeful play with young children to promote learning.  Children can learn a variety of concepts and skills through play.  So while reading the attached article, I thought “I couldn’t have said it better myself.”  Take a few minutes to read this article and check out the “P.O.P” sheet on reading story books with your child.  Add some purposeful play to your week and watch your child’s language grow! We would love to hear from you.  Leave us a comment to tell us how you incorporate purposeful play into your child’s day.
